Template:Blocked user/doc

This template should typically only be placed by the blocking administrator. If the blocker doesn't think it's needed, the odds are it isn't.

Examples of usage

Account blocked indefinitely

IP blocked for six months

Historically blocked users, with previous version of page linked in template.

{{blocked user|historical|id=(revisionid(optional))}}

Categories

If the "historical" parameter is used, the page will be added to Category:Blocked historical users instead. If the "ip" parameter is used and no "time=" parameter is specified, the page will be added to Category:Indefinitely blocked IP addresses. If the "ip" parameter is used in conjunction with the "time=" parameter, the page will appear in no category.
