==Mission==
The mission of Teampedia is to become the world's largest collection of resources (e.g. warmups, icebreakers, and other group facilitation and training activities) to facilitate teamwork, teambuilding, and community.

* To collaboratively develop, share and archive the world's largest collection of teambuilding resources
* To bring team leaders, team members, consultants, and facilitators together in a vibrant online community where all contributions are valued
==History==
* March 2006 - Teampedia was founded by Seth Marbin, and has grown with help from many [[Special:Listusers| team members]].
* April 17, 2007 - Signed up for a Google AdWords campaign and started testing out began advertising for the siteon Google search network
* April 19, 2007 - Signed up for a Google Anlytics and started tracking visitors (avg ~50/day for the first week)
* April 29, 2007 - 00:54 the first day the wiki was spammed! :(
==Inspirations==
* Although Teampedia has no direct affiliation with the [http://wikimedia.org/ WikiMedia Foundation], or their project [http://en.wikipedia.org Wikipedia - the free online encylopedia], this project was heavily inspired by both.
* Most of the initial teambuilding activities on Teampedia were inspired by activities used at [http://www.cityyear.org City Year] (the nation's largest [http://www.americorps.org AmeriCorps] program).
* The Teampedia logo was inspired by the logo for the [http://www.vanderbilt.edu/pgcc/newpgcc.htm Vanderbilt University Portable Group Challange Course]logo.
