For those who are not comfortable with extended "schmoozing," an alternative to random chatter can help them warm up and get to know others at a gathering. In contrast to most "team building" activities, party games are designed for any group, for fun and ice-breaking. They don't include a reflective discussion about what was learned or how participants experienced it.
